Midtown Manhattan based technology company is looking for a Junior System Administrator for its local IT business. If you are looking for a challenging, long-term position and you are capable of delivering results, we would like you to be part of our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintaining and upgrading existing Networks / Servers / Desktops
- Set up and install new Windows 2008/2012 servers and network devices
- SActive Directory and Exchange service and support
- Onsite support networks / desktops
- Good verbal and written communication skills
Qualifications
- MCP certification desired
- Must have good hands-on experience with Windows server 2008 and 2012
- Must know how to troubleshoot
- 2+ years working in service and repair environment
- 2+ years networking experience
- Must know VMware
- Working knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SMTP and other protocols
- Experience with software applications: Exchange 2007 & 2010 / SQL server / Antivirus / Backup Exec / MS Office 2007,2010 & 2012 / Adobe CS & CC
- Linux experience required
- Linux experience is a plus
